DivX to VCD

Want to convert DivX to VCD format? Let us give you some suggestions on how to tackle the DivX to VCD conversion process. What we suggest is that you select a bigger DVD rip for the conversion. You have to be absolutely careful about the DVD rip to ensure a quality VCD from the source DivX. Now, let's get on with the process. First, you have to split the DivX movie you intend to convert into the VCD. But at this point, you will need to strike a balance between quality and quantity.

Remember, you won't be able to load more than an hour of movie on a VCD, as it will have adverse effects on the quality of the VCD. So, if you are extremely finicky about quality, try not to convert more than an hour of film on a VCD. And also, don't forget to use a top class chopper to dissect the film.

Now, you have to handle the audio part of the DivX quite carefully. Actually, the audio files in the DivX remain in a compressed position. So, in order to make them burnable as a VCD, you will need to uncompress the audio files. Simply put, you have to first turn the audio file into an AVI file format then convert the AVI into a Mpeg-1.  This conversion process will be a real taste of your patience. As the process of converting the AVI files into the Mpeg-1 format will take almost 7 hours. After the AVI to Mpeg-1 transformation, you can go ahead with your DivX to VCD plan. We suggest that you not try to finish the conversion process all at once, and to be on the safe side, you should check the MPEG files several times during the process to ensure the quality.
